There is incised decoration on the outer surfaces of the cheekpieces at the point where the mouthpiece joins

It is not stamped with any maker's mark

The spur is stamped "Blue Diamond" between the buttons on one sideThe long neck is gently curved

It is in very good almost unused condition with only a few small water marks around the bottom of one flap

It is actually silver coloured, the light in the images makes it appear more yellow. It has a half twisted or reversible straight mouthpiece. The cheeks are fixed, each cheek has three possible slots for the curb rein. The bit has its original curb hooks and chain. One cheek is stamped "Champion & Wilton" and the other "V. S. Nickel" \one cheek is lightly bent (please see images) Mouthpiece 13. 7cm (5")
